Sacroiliac Joint Pain
Inflammation of one or both SI joints is called sacroiliac joint dysfunction, or sacroiliitis, leading to an acute, stabbing sensation that radiates outward from your hips and pelvis, to the lower back and thighs. Those experiencing sacroiliac joint dysfunction may also feel tingling or numbness, as well as a feeling that their knees might buckle. If you have experienced osteoarthritis, injury, gout, and even pregnancy, you may be at risk.
Arthritis(Osteoarthritis)
Often called degenerative arthritis, osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis, occurring when the protective cartilage between joints wears down, exposing a direct bone-to-bone contact. OA has a particularly wide range of symptoms and causes, so as you age it is important to speak with your physician regarding both treatment and prevention.
Bursitis
Bursitis is a painful condition that affects the small, fluid-filled sacs — called bursae — that cushion the bones, tendons and muscles near your joints. Bursitis occurs when bursae become inflamed. The most common causes of bursitis are repetitive motions or positions that put pressure on the bursae around a joint.
