5 Signs You May Need to See a Pain Management Specialist

Understanding your Symptoms and Seeking Expert Guidance from SEVA Healthcare

Pain can be a relentless companion, but it is also a crucial messenger from our bodies, signaling that something might be amiss. While some discomfort can be managed with over-the-counter remedies, there are instances where pain becomes a compelling reason to consult a healthcare professional. In this article, we will delve into five symptoms of pain that warrant your doctor’s attention. SEVA Healthcare is here to guide you through these challenging moments, offering therapies and injections to help you regain your comfort and quality of life.

1) Muscular, Skeletal, and Lower Back Pain

When muscular, skeletal, or lower back pain strikes, it can be attributed to various factors. It might result from strenuous activities that your body is not accustomed to, or you might experience serious muscle spasms throughout your back and lower body. While lying down can provide temporary relief, most activities tend to worsen the situation. At SEVA Healthcare, our injections can help you tolerate the necessary therapies to alleviate these symptoms effectively.

2) Sciatica

Sciatica, often characterized by lightning pain, is a condition that usually arises from sudden onset disc herniation, falling or lifting something heavy, or even a car crash. This injury is often hard-hitting and aggressive, making it essential to seek immediate medical attention. The team at SEVA Healthcare is experienced in addressing the challenges posed by sciatica, providing relief and tailored treatment options.

3) Neck Pain

Neck pain can be a common but debilitating issue. Stress is a leading cause, often resulting in poor sleep habits and postures. Neck pain can also manifest after car accidents and aggressive whiplash injuries. Our healthcare professionals at SEVA Healthcare are equipped to diagnose and treat the underlying causes of neck pain, helping you regain your quality of life.

4) Headaches

Headaches come in various forms, but those related to migraines are particularly concerning. Typically, migraines have a basis in an overexcitation of neurons, leading to debilitating pain that can disrupt your daily routine. If you experience headaches on at least 15 days per month, lasting for hours or the entire day, and find them debilitating and non-functional, it’s time to consult with a specialist at SEVA Healthcare.

5) Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis, often afflicting the knee, is a degenerative process that can significantly affect your quality of life. If you’re experiencing persistent knee pain, you should consult with a healthcare professional. At SEVA Healthcare, we have the expertise to diagnose and manage osteoarthritis, offering therapies and treatments to improve your mobility and reduce discomfort.
