Discover Effective Pain Management with Radiofrequency Ablation at SEVA Healthcare

When it comes to managing chronic pain, finding the right treatment is crucial for regaining your quality of life. At SEVA Healthcare, we specialize in providing cutting-edge pain management solutions tailored to each patient’s unique needs. One of the innovative treatments we offer is Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), a minimally invasive procedure that has shown remarkable results in alleviating chronic back pain.

What is Radiofrequency Ablation?

Radiofrequency Ablation at SEVA Healthcare

Radiofrequency Ablation is a procedure that uses heat generated by radio waves to target specific nerves, disrupting the transmission of pain signals to the brain. This technique is particularly effective for patients suffering from chronic pain in the lower back, neck, and joints, where other treatments have failed to provide sufficient relief.

The RFA procedure is typically recommended for patients who have experienced temporary relief from facet joint injections or nerve blocks. By targeting the nerves responsible for transmitting pain, RFA can provide long-lasting relief, often for six months to two years.

Why Choose Radiofrequency Ablation?

Chronic back pain can significantly impact your daily life, limiting your mobility and reducing your overall well-being. At SEVA Healthcare, we understand the importance of not just masking the symptoms but addressing the root cause of your pain. Radiofrequency Ablation offers several benefits:

  1. Minimally Invasive: Unlike traditional surgery, RFA is performed using a small needle, reducing the risk of complications and promoting quicker recovery times.

  1. Long-lasting Relief: Patients can experience significant pain reduction for an extended period, allowing them to return to their daily activities with greater ease.
  2. Targeted Treatment: RFA precisely targets the affected nerves, ensuring that surrounding tissues are not damaged during the procedure.

If you’ve been struggling with chronic back pain and are seeking a solution that provides long-term relief, Radiofrequency Ablation might be the answer you’ve been looking for. Schedule a consultation with SEVA Healthcare today to learn more about how RFA can help you get back to living a pain-free life.

What to Expect During the Procedure

The RFA procedure is straightforward and usually completed in less than an hour. After administering a local anesthetic, your pain management specialist will insert a thin needle near the affected nerves. Using imaging guidance, radiofrequency energy is delivered to the targeted nerves, disrupting their ability to send pain signals to the brain.

Patients often report feeling immediate relief, with the full benefits of the procedure becoming evident within a few weeks. Side effects are minimal, with most patients experiencing only mild discomfort at the injection site.
